Bank of Hawaii Mililani Wins Kukulu Hale Award

November 2021

The 2021 NAIOP Kukulu Hale Awards celebrated the synergy of Peter Vincent Architects and Bank of Hawaii in the New Project Category. The new Bank of Hawaii Mililani Branch at the Town Center of Mililani, is a celebration of team effort and resilience in the midst of a global pandemic. The 4,057-square-foot space is the 11th of the Bank’s “Branch of Tomorrow” concept, replacing a former location that was too small for it’s customers. The new branch provides a dynamic space that celebrates their 50 years in the Mililani community, with a design inspired by the vivid constellations and thousands of stars that brighten up the clear night sky in Mililani. The team met an aggressive schedule, while responding to construction, supply, labor and pandemic related challenges. The project was on time and on budget, in spite of the challenges faced, and was a true crowning achievement and testimony to the dedication and efforts of the entire team.
