Los Gatos Farmhouse

The design pays homage to the site’s rustic heritage, yet has clean, contemporary lines and a sense of casual understated elegance. The siting preserves many of the site’s majestic oak trees and the curving dirt access road and bridge that crossed a stream – one of the site’s unique features.  Materials selected reflect a simple farmhouse aesthetic and a detached garage references the site’s old barn and is connected by a covered walkway, serving as an extension of the porch.
