Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory

Established in 1942, Chun Wah Kam has a long history of innovative and creative ideas dedicated to providing new and exciting cooking for its patrons. Thus, this new restaurant was undertaken that would not only reflect Chun Wah Kam's tradition for excellent food, but also represent their creative flair for the imaginative.

  • Merit Award in the 2000 BIA Hawaii Renaissance competition

Design elements involved the innovative use of such forms as a Chinese wok, gas burners, Chinese "take-out" boxes and cups. To complete the concept of the restaurant, a new business logo was developed that compliments the architectural scheme and provides a colorful and visually powerful exterior sign.
