PVA is honored to be working with The Pacific Club on the implementation of Phase One of the Club’s forward-thinking Master Plan. This important effort builds upon the Club’s remarkable 175-year history while thoughtfully preparing its facilities and member experience for future generations.

Phase One of the Master Plan focuses on enhancing several key areas throughout the historic Club, including the transformation of the Courtyard Dining Room and Garden into an expanded gathering space centered around a new bar. Additional improvements include resurfacing the pool deck and revitalizing the Terrace into a more vibrant and casual dining destination.

Working closely with The Pacific Club and its leadership, PVA has been guiding the design process and participating in the Club’s Design Assist process, which recently led to the selection of a general contractor for Phase One. The contractor recommendation will be presented to the Board of Governors for approval before a formal announcement is made.

As the design process has progressed, PVA has developed several exciting concepts and opportunities that extend beyond the original project scope. Rather than rushing these decisions, The Pacific Club has chosen to take additional time to evaluate the feasibility and long-term potential of these ideas.

The resulting design process is intended to do more than introduce physical improvements. Each concept is being carefully considered in relation to the Club’s strategic priorities, future needs, and the history and architectural character of its iconic Vladimir Ossipoff-designed Clubhouse.

PVA looks forward to continuing its collaboration with The Pacific Club as Phase One moves forward and the Club shares the evolving design concepts with its members. Together, the team is working to build upon the Club’s extraordinary history while creating a vision that will serve generations of members and employees to come.
